Who We Are and Why We Created this Space
ESTABLISHED IN 2023
Sacred Vessel was founded by husband and wife team Flip and Kara Da Silva.
At 21 years old, we shared a dream of one day opening our own tattoo studio. While Flip worked construction doing commercial glass work during the day, and apprenticed in tattooing in the evenings, we were also navigating marriage, raising three children, and slowly building the foundation for what would eventually become Sacred Vessel.
Years later, that dream became a reality.
The name Sacred Vessel comes from our belief that
the body is a sacred temple, something deeply personal that
deserves to be treated with care, respect, and intention.

Our studio was created to offer a more calm, private, and personal experience than the traditional tattoo shop environment that can sometimes feel a bit intimidating. As a private appointment-only studio, we focus on creating a one-on-one atmosphere where every client receives our full attention. We want people to feel comfortable here, more like they are hanging out in our home than walking into a busy traditional shop.
Whether someone comes to us for tattooing or permanent makeup, every piece is approached with artistry, precision, and respect for the person wearing it.
For us, this has always been about more than the services themselves. It is about helping people feel confident, comfortable, and connected to themselves.
